Female musicians wearing DIAMOND earrings

Just now, Li'l Sebastian said:

BMG was the biggest retailer overall and most popular. You didn't prove anything. It's like saying itunes is the biggest retailer just because Lemonade sold more on itunes than in physical copies.

Oh and i made mistake, i used total BMG numbers (2003), not those from 1998 when it was certified diamond

So that's 5m from SS + 0,5 from BMG = 5,5m +1m from other club sales (at the time! 1998) = not Diamond.

If BMG really was the biggest, how were others able to sell so massively outside BMG and Nielsen? confused1

Eagles Greatest Hits : 18M in Nielsen, + 1.5M in BMG

But it's certified at 29XPlatinum

Where are the rest of the sales coming from then?

Add the Soundscan sales + BMG Club sales + Columbia House sales, and you pretty much have the real sales of an album. This shows why albums were not "overshipped" as many people say just from looking at the Soundscan sales only. rolleyes.gif

Record club sales were not counted by Soundscan but they were included in RIAA certifications. That should answer everyone's doubts that they had before. smile.gif

Album is NOT DIAMOND.  dead4

It DIDN'T SELL +3,5m IN OTHER CLUB SALES WHEN IT WAS CERTIFIED DIAMOND. And I included other club sales

So that's 5m from SS + 0,5 from BMG = 5,5m +1m from other club sales (0,5m from Colombia + the rest) = 6,5m in 1998 when it was certified Diamond

That attempt after TIC was  tragic tho

Album sold 5,9m (2013) after SS and it was over 3m before SS + 1,5m BMG club sales = 10,400,000 WITHOUT OTHER CLUB SALES.

And there is no way list you posted is legit because that would put TIC at +13,400,000, and I doubt Warner would've ignored 13xP certification when it was last certified in 2001

BMG is not the biggest retailer.

Columbia House Group had much larger sales.

if it's not the case, then how did Eagles 9M came in from outside BMG+Nielsen?

TIC is already past 12XPlatinum fyi dead2

You ignored my post tho.

Like I said BMG was the biggest overall, just because certain album sold more in other club doesn't mean that was the biggest club. It's like saying itunes is bigger than physical sales because Beyonce's ST sold more on itunes. See my point?

Colombia had biggest sales for certain artists/albums because of the deals they had. And mostly 80s albums had big sales there.

TIC is 12x in UK, not US

i mean sure if you have to adjust the reality to what your deluded ass thinks it would have sold. in no way were any of beyonces eras as big as the diamond albums in the op or even worthy of a diamond cert with adjusted sales, ofc if i said prism (which outsold BEYONCE) would have been diamond people would call me delusional, but somehow beyonce stans get away with it

She can get as many platinum albums as she want in 2016,at the end of the day her global albums sales will still be inferior to the others so  :uknowit:
