Yet, his main interest was becoming president. Hypocritical as fuck if you ask me. I'm glad he stopped and actually proved that he cared more about making sure Trump is not going to be president.

Lol you don't get it. The reason he stayed in the race even after she had pretty much won was to continue to push for his policy positions. And he succeeded; he got her to concede on the minimum wage, free college tuition, the TPP, and a public health option. If he had endorsed her right when it became impossible for him to win, he would have lost leverage and it's obvious Hillary adopted those positions because of his efforts. Contrary to your assertion that he's in it for himself, that shows that he actually cares about the policies that the people of this country need. If he was like any other selfish politician he would have asked for a job in Hillary's administration but instead he asked for policy. 

 

And saying he only hurt Hillary by holding out on endorsing her...getting her to adopt those POPULAR policies will actually help her score more votes than an early endorsement would have.

Considering Trump is complete 180 opposite on basically every Bernie belief, nobody wants to be joining the Cheatin Cheeto Man train. He wants to keep the minimum wage at a starvation wage, appoint justices to reverse gay marriage and abortion, put us into another Middle Eastern conflict, supports the horrific anti-LGBT laws in the South, and put a ban on all Muslims coming into this country. Not to mention he thinks a federal judge is incapable of doing his job due to his race (at this point, the only person who is able to oversee a Trump case is a white cisgender straight male non-veteran), thinks someone isn't a war hero if they're captured (anyone who plays this off as a joke is an asshole), mocks people with disabilities, demeans women, and insults Mexicans. These are ALL things Bernie is the complete opposite of Trump on.

Also, i'm going to stop the "well he's a political outsider and not part of the establishment" argument before anyone decides to say that's a reason for Bernie voters to vote for Trump. Trump is as much a political insider as anyone else. Who do you think has been the big government lining the pockets of politicians for years? He has donated thousands to the Clinton Foundation, endorsed Hillary Clinton in 08 (he actually continually praised her as a fantastic Secretary of State until around last year), then endorsed President Obama for years and donated to him. He is a crooked businessman as much as there are crooked politicians out there, so don't anyone try to bring that "outsider" bullshit and say Bernie and Trump have that in common.

Agree. Also to your point on the outsider thing: Trump is a total elitist. He's not looking out for the middle class, he's just being savy and pandering to them for votes. But he only cares about power and money, and he would never sit at the same table with an average Joe. He doesn't care about regular folk, except when he can make a buck off them.

 

Take his new stance on trade deals that he claims will help Bernie supporters go over to his side. If he actually cared about that he wouldn't have his OWN merchandise be made in China lol. Total hypocrite. 

 

I totally understand if Bernie supporters don't wanna vote for the queen of corruption and war Hillary, but don't opt for Trump. That's like choosing feces because you can't stand moldy bread.
