My rating after a few days of listening would be around 8/10. This is a really solid album.

I have to listen more, but at first listen I'm not a big fan of this album. I think her new more down to earth image is a very good and necessary change, and I think this new music style is good as well. However, those songs aren't as good as I'd expect from her... they're just too average.

I just scored Joanne (standard CD) for $6.69! ($5.50 US) 

I was just at the HMV Toronto Eaton Centre (and they are closing down) 

So, I got 10% off and then another $5 off because it's on the "grab list" for Today and Tomorrow. 

If you ever go to a HMV in Canada ( @Aidan. @Juinae ) it's like an obstacle course at check-out. If you spend over a certain amount they offer you all this other garbage for $8 or less. Even when you politely say "No, Thanks" to all the trash, they still try to get you to buy a copy of Glory...

Lucky for me, I went up to the desk with 3 CD's and got offered the "grab bag of tricks", and guess what was there? Joanne

It's officially closing down in 8 weeks (Dec 22nd or Dec 27th) due to Lease Expiry. That leaves just one record store downtown.

'Joanne' is one of those albums that I didn't like at all when it was released, but after listening to it several times it really grew on my and is one of my favourite albums of the past year.  Plus her Superbowl performance was mind blowing!  Can't wait to see her on the Joanne tour, she is one of the most amazing Artists I have ever seen live.
