Xtina has 3 solo hits, and 2 were in the BILL Clinton administration

Aguilera has had only three solo #1's on the Billboard Hot 100, and two of them came during the Clinton administration. Her fourth was "Lady Marmalade," a song also featuring Pink, Mya and Lil' Kim, and her fifth was "Moves Like Jagger," a Maroon 5 song on which she received a featured credit. Since 2002, she's only had three singles land in the top 10 (2002's "Beautiful," 2006's "Ain't No Other Man" and 2008's "Keeps Gettin' Better"), and her best showing in recent years was "Not Myself Tonight," which made it to #23. Lotus' first single, "Your Body," peaked at #34, and eight weeks after it was released, it's currently at #84. None of this is meant to pile on, mind you, it's simply repeating the facts.

Beyonce only has "3 solo hits" toony12

What does that even mean? So any song that didn't hit #1 isn't a hit?

In that case Britney doesn't have much solo hits either. Only four. ny2 . And just one of Xtina's "solo" hits spent more weeks at #1 than all of Britneys combined. nat2

And yet her stans claim that Gaga is a flash in the pan and that Xtina is a legend... eve1

Her peak smash hit years were 1999-2002, and Gaga's were 2009-2011. So I guess that one extra year cemented her "legendary" status? wat1

We all know Gaga ended Christina's career kii Gaga 2009-2011 is of more legendary status and more iconic than Christina's whole career. aretha1

Except Beyoncé and Britney are actually relevant. Christina is the queen of sitting on a chair for 5 years.

Have several seats.

"Beautiful" was in 2003. There was also Ain't No Other Man in 2006. Say Something in 2014. Just naming you the ones that got her Grammys. nat2

i said "smash hit era" though. one featured hit single is not a "smash hit era". Xtina's last official successful era was Stripped because it sold 11 million and had a top 5 hit single. ever since then she's been a hit or miss artist when it comes to her own albums. I just think its funny how you and other Xtina stans try to come for Gaga's peak, when the only difference between her and Xtina is that X has been releasing music for longer.  nat2

I think they've had very similar careers, but Gaga's peaking much more quickly. rav1

2009-2011 vs 1999-2002 um2

2 years vs 3 years of successful eras = "Gaga peaking much more quickly"? um2 does that not seem like a little bit of a stretch to you? they both had quick asf peaks tbh dead2
