If Adele is famous because of her voice, why can't JoJo?

WHEW.

I ran across her new song "Mad Love" and I was literaly laying on the floor dead because the soul, vocals, production of the song are out of this world. I'ts amazing to me that Beyoncé or Adele can be quickly recognized because of their voices but artists like JoJo doesn't. Why is that? I mean, Adele got pretty famous because of her soulful tracks and JoJo truly showcases that in her recent work. Maybe not "Fuck Apologies" but "Say Love", "Mad Love" come to my mind. Why isn't she getting recognised?
