she wasn't even singing anyway so there's nothing to criticize there, she's still a good singer so y'all doing the most with this thread and her being over. Who did i bring up exactly? ? She was unprofessional and a complete mess during that performance, where did i even deny this? That doesn't take away her status of a vocal legend.

I won't deny she's a vocal legend, but that legendary status is a relic of the past, she's made headlines too many times in the last three years for her terrible vocals to still pretend nothing is wrong in Mariah land and this NYE disaster is just an isolated instance of people treating her like a lost cause

Her music has been terrible since like MDNA, the fact a pop music legend like her released a song like BIM is just more tragic than any bad performance by Mariah. At least one will be forgotten and the other will forever be in her discography.

But me and Didy literally despise Rebel Heart and we support her retiring if that's the quality she's comfortable with releasing now  And please don't act like Mariah's music is any better now smh

However, what does she has to offer as a live act? I can write you a 20 pages essay analysing work such as the MDNA tour.  she can still promote her discography and make remarkable tours based on her legacy like Roger Waters for instance, Mariah can't do that anymore cause, again, shes about vocals, she has no vocals, she has nothing to offer.

Natalie Kills, who is honestly physically repulsive by the way. Has never had any attention other than the X Factor stint though? Her album didn't even chart other than 1 country and that was like a dance chart. So... you stan an ugly pig (hopefully she never reproduces) flop so there you go really

I can, but I don't have to because people already answered it. Madonna has something other to offer than her vocals. And even if she doesn't have anything to offer in 2017 (and I'd actually agree with that assessment), that doesn't put Mariah in a better position. I hated Madonna's last album, all of her music video's this era, all of her promo performances, her whole tour, but that doesn't mean I'm forced to shut up about Mariah doing terrible too Madonna isn't even my fav, so all of your "but what about Madonna?!" tactics is useless to begin with - I will readily admit that Madonna is declining rapidly, but in a discussion about Mariah's vocals she's not relevant because Madonna was never free from accusations about terrible vocals and she still survived, so clearly she has other things to offer than whistle notes That alone answers you question.

But again: I didn't have to answer it. Album like MDNA is weak as a Madonna album, but in general it shits on many faves. 

One bad song doesn't represent the whole album.
