Just watched Mike's funeral

Was gonna criticise the writers for losing all the emotion and realism this show had in the first 3 seasons, but it was actually pretty sad.

All the good US dramas are ending 24, Prison Break, Desperate Housewives

The new episode was an improvement over the last but the fact that it is the penultimate episode makes it sorta disappointing... there was no big cliffhanger or lingering question aside from Bree's conflict...

Anyway, I loved Bree's storyline (although I disliked the scenes with the private investigator) and Lynette's storyline was also pretty great. The misunderstanding between Lynette/Tom/Lee was really predictable and melodramatic but I'm happy it happened because it will make their reunion even sweeter next week.

I couldn't care any less for Susan's storyline and Gabby's presence was limited, but enjoyable nevertheless!

Anyway, the promo for the series finale looks AMAZING and I'm sure it's going to slay me. I think the first hour will wrap up the trial storyline and all that while the second hour will focus on Renee's wedding (it will be similar in structure to last year's finale). I can't believe the show is finally coming to an end.

it was a good episode, but this could've worked just as well as the 16th... they've stalled and dragged things so much the last few episodes, and of course an episode where something actually happens it's gonna be good.

my theory is that gaby and carlos will come clean, gaby will confess everything alejandro did to her, and the verdict will be self-defense +shrug+
