Does Germany even have same-sex marriage yet? I know there's obviously a lot more to these lists that than but still, I thought it was behind on that but it always comes so high.

Nope. The thing that German population is one of the most gay friendliest in the world, but the current leading party (Merkels party) is against marriage equality. Though there are growing voices within the conservative party to legalize gay marriage.

Germany currently has the "Lebenspartnerschaftsgesetz" which is basically gay marriage light. The only difference between normal marriage is that homosexuals can't adopt kids yet.

But maybe we get gay marriage this year depending on the election.
