What's the worst movie you've ever paid to see in theaters?

Recommended Posts

Jem and the Holograms

Runner-ups:

Cars 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Edit: No I didn't walk out of any of them. I very nearly always finish movies no matter how bad they are. In fact, the only movie that was intolerable enough for me to ever quit on was American Hustle - made it about 40 minutes into that piece of shit before I couldn't stand it anymore.

After Earth

It was such a boring & predictable movie. I didn't walk out cause we went to see it for my friend's birthday jj1

Jaden Smith's entire career is built on blatant nepotism. sorry1

Suicide Squad rip1

I didn't even bother with it after the abomination in the OP. I screamed when Samantha Bee compared it to pouring Monster energy drink onto a film reel. rip2

I hate the Transformers movies... Everything Michael Bay touches is misogynistic explosion porn. laughcry1

Also, I didn't like TASM2 either. I only saw it once and that was enough for me. I can't believe they had to cut out whole characters and it still ended up being a bloated, convoluted mess with no clear direction.

I don't really mind his movies, but I'm not a big fan either. Most people would say The Rock is his best, but I actually like Armageddon, silly and bombastic as it is. The only Transformers movie that I mildly like is Age of Extinction, but they're all way too long, mostly lacking in likable human characters to latch onto, and overfilled with low-rent sex comedy humor.

All the villains in TASM 2 were so bad... dead1 I also thought it was hilarious how the Green Goblin coincidentally shows up immediately after they beat Electro, like he was the next boss in a video game or something.

Spy Kids 3D sia5

A guy walked out but I stayed strong. I was just a kid and 3D was the pits back then, but I'm sure they could do better because I reckon the screen isn't supposed to be purple all the time sia5

Sin City 2, Men in Black II sia5

I usually have good time in cinema because there is that vibe of epicness, and the sound is crazy, so I enjoy even the films I stop liking once I watched them at home. I went to see Prometheus twice because I thought Fassboner looked bomb. I mean he did mess1

And I loved the movie. But it looks horrid at home.

God saved me from seeing Phantom Menace with my mum, but we ended up at Hannibal instead, which was just as bad rip2 Bdw I watched it recently, and it was pretty good this time.

The Lighting Thief (I proceeded to drag that film for filth after I left. They changed so much from the book. I was furious. orangu1)

Batman V. Superman (I didn't think it was possible to turn two of the world's most famous iconic superheroes boring. But alas, I was proven right.)

The RoboCop remake (Tragic.)
