Taylor's music back on Spotify on Witness' release date

But that's not all albums, is it? I read that it was only "certain" albums that would be on the premium-only service. I mean, I'm glad the big labels are lining up, but unless it's truly comprehensive, the people Taylor was putatively defending without label/association support may not be in the same boat.

And even if it were 100% comprehensive, why wait until Katy's release date. My point wasn't that market changes aren't happening--it's that they're irrelevant in the context of Taylor's decision because she did this to be petty, calling in to question her morals the same way her greed did the move to pull her catalogue.

Yeah, it only applies to new releases and only if the artist/label wants to. It's not even that big of a deal, Spotify just offered the option plus subscriber growth targets in return for lower payout rates. TS's decision has absolutely nothing to do with that.
