Ed Sheeran’s Divide (Warner) banks a twelfth non-consecutive week at No. 1 in Australia while Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” (Republic/Universal) completes a month at the top of the national singles survey.

Sheeran’s blockbuster third album has racked up quadruple platinum status in its 14 weeks on the ARIA Albums Chart, and it still has the legs to outrace four fast-starting new arrivals: Halsey’s Hopeless (No. 2 via Capitol/EMI), Pete Murray’s Camacho (No. 3 via Sony), Alt-J’s Relaxer (No. 4 via Liberation/Universal) and All Time Low’s Last Young Renegade (No. 5 via Atlantic/Warner).

Thanks to the seemingly-unstoppable Sheeran, Halsey finishes runner-up on a second consecutive album. Her debut Badlands opened at No. 2 in September 2015, when The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness ruled the chart.

Also bowing in the top ten this week is Roger Waters new solo set, Is This The Life We Really Want? (Columbia/Sony), which starts at No. 7.  On the ARIA Singles Chart, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” featuring Justin Bieber snags a fourth consecutive week at No. 1 while two former One Direction singers lock-up top 5 positions. Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” (Capitol/EMI) rises 8- 3, a new peak, while Liam Payne’s “Strip That Down” (Capitol/EMI) featuring Quavo improves 9-5, also a new peak.
