Maam don't try it. I actually gave this album an unbiased listen and praised her for actually sounding different for once and pushing the sound of electronic music in mainstream. However, she failed the mark of sounding good. A lot of tracks were lackluster in production, hooks, , or the lyrical content was just awkward. There wasn't many appealing tracks in this record.

 

Also Lemonade was Good, sister. Don't come for one of the best albums of 2016  

A lot of mainstream pop acts in late 2016, so far in 2017 have been hella lackluster and are fumbling to find a sound that is different to push out of the Tropical/Trap sound that is taking over radio

Joanne tried it, Selena is trying it, and Katy tried it.  They ain't succeeding either because it is all lackluster af. (Maybe not Selena. I actually like Bad Liar)

 

I may have warmed up to Katy as an artist thanks to her live stream and recent attempts to not be basic, but I am NOT passing up a good kii at the album flopping for filth because I'm petty like that..

None is denying Katy's underperforming, none. It's you guys who still deny Gaga's massive decline, however. Pretending like anyone cares about SB receipts or some flop Bradley Cooper movie  I guess Christina was totally relevant in 2011 because she released a film with a legend omg !! 

And let's make it even more clear for you, this is Katy's ARTPOP era, sure. But this is not Gaga's Prism era, both of them are hasbeens, period.
