Lana Del Rey | Norman Fucking Rockwell! | August 30th, 2019

I am having great time indulging myself fully into Mariners Apartment Complex, Venice Bitch, Fuck It, I Love You and The Greatest as previously released songs/singles. Also, Hope is lyrically strong, so that one goes as well. She should have put more melody base there to not feel overly monotonous, but it puts me in the mood most certainly. lana5

Buuut, Norman Fucking Rockwell also managed to pull through with brilliant albums tracks like Love Song, Cinnamon Girl, California, Happiness Is A Butterfly. In fact, California managed to get me the most. Those raw, unfiltered vocals during the chorus and the lyrics itself feel cathartic. lana6

I am digging The Best American Record with each listen more and more. The same can be applied to title track. bey7

This album is so summery and breezy, yet gloomy enough to capture you in a certain way like all of her records before. I am not sure about it beating Ultraviolence yet, but I would say I could place it above Honeymoon ( which practically transformed as my second favorite album of hers closely followed by Born To Die ( complete edition jj2 )).

I've read that the t-t sound in Bartender's refrain is supposed to resemble the sound of a paparazzi camera shutter ... the brilliance gag1 but some people are trying to contend that it's the worst song on the album (WHILE California and TNBAR are sitting RIGHT there) gag1

Just a little bit pissed off we only hear that orgasmic post chorus in Cinnamon Girl twice in the whole song! Should have put it in the outro as it fades out or something. oprah13

Probably not the best song in her discography, but I can see it being top 20. brit15

Right UV and HM have been fighting back and forth for my number 1 spot and this is such an amazing blend of the things I love about both records while still feeling fresh and exciting rather than a retread, ugh her MIND cry9

I never really got into HM and LFL tbh. I tried listening to them hoping they’ll grow on me but they never did. I fell in love with NFR on the first listen though, glad she can do that for me again cry9

No I can't. Not even by selecting all in the post and clicking the backspace button not by simply typing over it.

Hit the upper left corner of a quote - it should highlight entire thing then tap on backspace button to remove the quote

Nope. Not with my phone. It'll highlight but won't delete.
