Era Vs Era (BOMT v OIDA)

Recommended Posts

Hey, Y'all!

sorry if this is AP

but I thought of this idea where we pit 2 eras against each other and determine which one was better

it's based off song vs song but includes performances, sales & looks

so to start this off let's do BOMT vs OIDA

SINGLES:

*bomt had 5 singles while oida had 4

Bomt vs Oida

Sometimes vs Lucky

You Drive Me Crazy vs Stronger

Born to make you happy vs Don't let me be the last to know

*from the bottom of my broken heart will be counted as an album track rather than a single since there aren't enough singles from Oops

ALBUM TRACKS:

Soda Pop vs When Your eyes say it

From the Bottom of my broken heart vs Can't Make you Love me

I will be there vs Where are you now

I will still love you vs One Kiss From You

Thinkin' About you vs What you see is what you get

E-mail my heart vs Don't Go knockin' on my door

The Beat Goes On vs I can't get no satisfaction

I'm so curious vs Dear Diary

SALES:

Bomt Sold: 31,500,000 units

Oida Sold: 25,250,000 units

*these were taken  from http://www.statisticbrain.com/britney-spears-career-statistics/

Tours:

*Bomt Had 2 tours while Oida Had 1

*these were taken from http://www.statisticbrain.com/britney-spears-career-statistics/

Bomt tour(s):

the bomt tour had 80 shows & 462,609 tickets sold

it grossed $35,000,000

*Crazy 2k tour won't be counted since it wouldn't be fair

OIDA tour:

the Oida tour had 83 shows & 1,452,014 tickets sold

it grossed $52,143,517

Major Performances:

VMAS:

This performance wasn't really remembered or considered as iconic as the OIDA performance but it's still good

I-C-O-N-I-C

GRAMMYS:

this one counts for BOMT since she performed BOMT songs on there only

BBMAS:

That backflip saved lives

I'm guessing she only won an award w out performing

Looks:

Oops is one of my favorite Britney eras. She promoted so much, she was everywhere. Plus I love the singles abs the music videos so much.

And I think the VMA performance might be my favorite Britney performance of all time. To think she was only 18... I remember what losers me and my friends were at 18 dead7 and look at her. ( we still are lol)

Oops the song and video are also my second favorite of hers after Toxic.

The album was better. The tour too.

If you think about it this era was better overall than ITZ cause that was cut short.

It's between OIDIA and Britney for best era imo.
