Today marks officially 8 years since Mariah released this incredible body of work from start to finish.

It's really one of her most conceptually and musically cohesive albums, it flows so well from start to finish even if you dislike one of the songs *cough* Standing O *cough* it still manages to snatch your wig!

Honestly, I was the same as you with this album at first, it took me a few solid listens to it to get beyond I Wanna Know What Love Is. 

But once this album manages to hook you, you'll really stay hooked.
