Dan

Are there any albums that you like EVERY song on?

Recommended Posts

I would say Dreams and Tango in the night by Fleetwood Mac

The velvet rope, Like a Prayer, Blue by Joni Mitchell, Ultraviolence

Lust for life although I would skip the title song for the latter sometimes jj4

Strange Mercy; Little Earthquakes, Heart of Stone, Jolene, I don't know what else

  • Fifth Harmony - Fifth Harmony
  • Zayn Malik - Mind Of Mine
  • Kendrick Lamar - good kid m.A.A.d city
  • One Direction - Midnight Memories (but ironically this is my #5 favorite of their 5 albums...)
  • One Direction - Four (however, I do skip Steal My Girl and Ready To Run sometimes...)
  • Britney Spears - Circus
  • Britney Spears - Glory
  • all of Demi Lovato's albums so far
  • Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly
  • Kendrick Lamar - D***

These are the first ones that came to my mind. I will think of more when I'm more awake.

However, like I noted with Midnight Memories; even though I LIKE all of the tracks, that doesn't necessarily mean it's my favorite of the artists' bodies of work. Just because all of the individual songs are great that doesn't NECESSARILY mean it works as a *body of work*, you get me?

The first three I mentioned and Circus *are* also my favorite body of work of the artist in question though.

Okay now that I'm more awake:

  • Beyonce - Lemonade
  • Beyonce - Beyonce
  • Niall Horan - Flicker
  • Harry Styles - Harry Styles
  • Kehlani - SweetSexySavage
  • Miley Cyrus - Breakout (NOT my #1 favorite body of work of hers)
  • Miley Cyrus - Meet Miley Cyrus (see previous)
  • Britney Spears - Femme Fatale
  • Britney Spears - Oops!...I Did It Again
  • Britney Spears - ...Baby One More Time
  • Christina Aguilera - Stripped
  • Christina Aguilera - Back To Basics
  • Christina Aguilera - Christina Aguilera
  • Taylor Swift - Red
  • Taylor Swift - Fearless
  • most of Tori Amos' albums
  • Lindsay Lohan - Speak
  • all of Red Velvet's albums so far
  • Lady Gaga - Born This Way (NOT my #1 favorite body of work of hers)
  • Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

I realise a record's sequence (especially by our pop girls) doesn't really mean anything these days but most of the artists I listen to date back from the 60's and onwards when the track list mattered, so I view albums as a body of work i.e. never skip anything.
