Pop girls who are fading

Recommended Posts

It hurts to say but people were already not here from Gaga around 2012, so the end of the BTW era sorry1

Witness has hurt Katy's career too much

Christina is literally making no attempt to release an album as of yet

Britney's been fading but i should say that in front of certain people

Lana was never something in general

These are from the top of my head of course there might be others

SML is still played on radio and people know all the lyrics to it to this day. That isnt forgotten. And are we forgetting the era that was 25?

Yes, because all singles off your album should be #1's or else you're fading. tay1  She sold 20M albums with her latest album (as of june 2016) and won album of the year, how is that fading? HOW?

Anyone will look like they're fading if we use chart receipts in this way.

it's their fault for underperforming tho, what they need especially in this day, is to be a feature on a urban smash. they need to appeal to a bigger audience.

GaGa's ego got to her head after BTW when she refused to do features and it hurt her, same with Katy (when she wasn't trying to push a song to #1)

they need to realise that having a strong fanbase is not enough, see Xtina with Bionic, they need smashes, you guys are laughing at Rihanna for having so many collabs but she always played her cards right, besides it doesn't hurt that she appeals to more demographics

they always try to discredit half of her number ones or hits for being collabs, Moo started to adapt to a new genre and started doing collabs and it helped her big time

Okay which fanbase? because if they laugh at her then their faves must not have a lot of #1's then.

Maybe because the majority of Mimi's number ones were solo, unlike Rihanna. But at least she's getting number one hits rip2

okay that's cute but if you go and follow her career path you'll realise that she pioneered rap collabs and switched to R&B once she started underperforming on her own

i'm lazy to dig up the receipts but it was in the BG's recently Madge stans were throwing a fit about it, Britney army and Hive

Hive and the army have no room to talk. truthfully. Bey's latest #1 wasn't even in this decade, and britney's latest #1's were collabs, ironically one of them was with rihanna, so there's that.

Madge stans are always attacking young female artists and their stans so it is no surprise. you'd think they'd be so secure in M and her accomplishments and celebrate her lengthy 30+ years career, but no, they have time for this mess still.

And she started to underperform in the Rainbow era, by then she already had 90% of her number ones
