What does Taylor have that Britney and Katy don't?

But imo In The Zone and Teenage Dream are better than any album from Taylor except 1989.

And Britney and Katy aren't vindictive like Taylor.

country fanbases are loyal, while pop fanbases are fickle and tend to dwindle with time. Taylor was able to SUCCESSFULLY bring over her core country fanbase to the pop side, + acquire NEW pop fans at the same time. Taylor would of never been as huge if she didn't start off as country-pop.

As a public figure she's way more accessible than all the other girls, the most 'controversial' thing she has done and the media fixated on was dating many people in a short period of time. She also already had a huge fanbase back when she was focusing on country music and she managed to bring them over when she transitioned to pop, but also gained a considerable amount of new fans in the process.

You say "only strength" as if being able to write all of your own material is somehow not a big talent  And Britney and Katy have questionably vocals - I'd say they're on a par with Taylor, queen of Speaking Now.

The Kim K receipts fiasco though  "XYZisoverparty" is now a thing because of that. Whereas Britney and other stars have crumbled in the face of scandal and meltdowns, Taylor has been a smart businesswoman and built her controversy into her act. Like Madonna, Taylor's success skyrocketed because she courted controversy and used it for her own gain. Perhaps if Britney and Katy were more self-aware and turned their tragic lives into songs, they'd be getting hits too
