I am going to document the Rainbow Era in this thread, from the announcement of the lead-single "Praying" all the way until the end of the era.

I'll be adding to this thread when I get time, as of now it is incompleteIf you have recommendations, feel free to submit them!

July 3rd: Kesha offered the first imagery of this era, teasing with a picture of a Rainbow on her Instagram, followed by an image from the Praying music video the next day.

July 5th: Kesha posted three Instagram videos, thanking the Animals and announced that Praying would be released the next day.

July 6th: Releases the lead-single off her upcoming album Rainbow, called "Praying", receiving over 1 million streams on Spotify in the first day and rising to #2 on US iTunes.The music video was also released, receiving over 10million views in the first day. Kesha also appeared on the Zach Sang Show, which became her first interview of the era. Her album also became available for pre-order, which gave us the first glimpse of the new album cover.

July 12th: Kesha teases the first promo-single off the album, "Woman".

July 18th: Kesha appeared on the Elvis Duran show. She also announced on air that she would be performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2017.

July 19th: Kesha offered a behind-the-scenes picture of recording "Woman".

July 20th: Kesha shared the behind-the-scenes video of creating the "Praying" music video. She also appeared on 92.3 AMP Radio for an interview.

July 24th: Kesha announced that Rainbow would be available on Vinyl!

July 26th: It was announced that Kesha would appear on Good Morning America on August 9th. A snippet of "Learn to Let Go" was also leaked, which was our first time hearing the song.

July 27th: Learn to Let Go was released, along with a music video and a note explaining the meaning behind the song. Also, through Amazon, we were able to find out that the Japanese Edition of Rainbow would include "Emotional" as a bonus track.

July 28th: A snippet of "Hymn" was leaked, which was our first chance to hear the song. It received mixed reviews based on the snippet. Kesha held a listening party, hosted by Spotify with some fans and many pictures were taken and we got the first couple reviews of the album!

August 3rd: It was announced that Kesha would appear on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on August 10th. Snippets of every song on Rainbow were also leaked. The audio of Hymn was also fully released everywhere.

 

August 4th: Kesha held a fan-party at the YouTube space, in which she performed Praying, Woman and Hymn live for the first time for fans. This was livestreamed on YouTube. Kesha's legal team also claimed that Dr. Luke had hire a Scientology PR Firm to smear her name.

 

August 8th: Rainbow was fully leaked, 3 days before the actual release date. Billboard also released an interview with Kesha, in which she discusses the influence behind Rainbow.

August 9th: Kesha appeared on Good Morning America, where she performed Praying and Woman and had a short interview. This was her first TV appearance of the era (and yours truly was there!)

August 10th: Kesha appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, in which she performed Praying and played a game.

August 11th: Today was the day, Rainbow was released - After almost 5 years of having no album, Kesha was finally able to release new music. A music video for the title-track was also released.

August 12th: Kesha had a segment on CBS This Morning where she wrote a touching note to her 18-year-old-self.

August 15th: Apple Music released a promo video for Rainbow.

August 16th: Ryan Seacrest announced that Kesha would appear on his radio show the following day.

August 17th: The Tonight Show released Kesha's cover of "House of the Rising Sun" on YouTube. She also called in to "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" for an interview.

 

August 18th: Rainbow was officially out for 1 week, debuting at #1 in the US and #4 in the UK, selling over 120,000 copies. On social media, Kesha released a video showing the making of Let 'Em Talk.

August 22nd: Through iTunes, it was found that Kesha would appear on Macklemore's upcoming album, "Gemini".

August 26th: Kesha released a short video showing the making of Boogie Feet on social media.

September 12th: Rumors began circulating that Kesha would perform at the EMAs in November, these rumors were proven to be true at a later point.

September 15th: Woman was danced to on Dancing with the Stars. Macklemore also confirmed that his track with Kesha, titled "Good Old Days" would be released the following Tuesday, accompanied by a music video.

October 30th: It is announced that Kesha will perform at Radio City Live on November 10th. Kesha also posts a video message about her vinyl. A new advertisement for MTV's show "Teen Mom OG" used Woman in the trailer. Kesha takes a picture with her Garbage Bag Dress at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

October 31st: Kesha has a concert on Halloween night, she wore amazing makeup for the show.

November 1st: The behind the scenes of Learn to Let Go were released and set to be the second worldwide single. Rainbow had now surpassed 400,000 sales worldwide. The Praying music video also hit 1million likes. She had her final Rainbow Tour show in the US, where the Eagles of Death Metal came and performed with her, Avril Lavigne also attended and took a picture with Kesha. Kesha's lawyers also slammed Dr. Luke for submitting personal correspondence in court.

November 27th: Rolling Stone ranked Rainbow as the 4th Best Album of 2017.

 

November 28th: Kesha was nominated for two Grammy's (Best Pop Vocal Album - Rainbow, Best Pop Performance - Praying), she posted a long message on Instagram about it. She also performed at the first Jingle Ball show.

Okay guys, I have finished the Rainbow Era Timeline, up until now (after many failed attempts) wendy1  

If you find any problems with it, wrong dates, or have any recommendations - Let me know! kii1
