Which fave has a chance to slay? If not commercially, then at least getting some critical acclaim.

Kylie

Expectations: Kylie putting her shit together and getting serious. Going back to indie vibes mixed with catchy electropop.

Reality: Kylie releasing another sassy soundtrack for drag queens that only Alkylieda would care for.

Madonna

Expectations: Madonna finally releasing critically acclaimed album worth of her name and bringing back the good old Madge.

Reality: Album leaking before Madonna even started working on it. Mixed bag with some bops. Madonna again making some "cool, down with the kidz" shit. Madonna talking in her interviews about how inspired and creative she was while making the album instead of actually showing that through music.

Lady Gaga

Expectations: Gaga going back to catchy dance songs that made her famous.

Reality: Gaga falling for filth for repeating the shame shit and trying to sell it as art.

 Mariah Carey

Expectations: Moo finally delivering critically acclaimed album with fun ballads that won't make  people sleep.

Reality:  Another album with literally incredible title that no one would care for, while roasted lambs would wait for December.

Christina

Expectations: Xtina finally slaying across the globe. Hits, critically acclaimed album, Grammy in the bag...

Reality:  It won't happen in any way. A hit song. Critically acclaimed album. A Grammy. Bye, Oreatina.

Britney

Expectations: Britney releasing finally album good as ITZ.

Reality: Producers making a new Britey album with robotized Nicole Scherzinger vocals, while Britney stays at home working on those Cheetos.

Beyonce

Expectations: Bleach finally falling for filth with shitty music.

Reality: All critics agreeing again how Beyboon's new album is great, like any other female artist  didn't make one before.

she hasn't had a legit solo hit in years, lemonade put out a few quick lil singles but that was it. Her fan base is the only thing really keeping her alive.

I'm sick of this narrative.

Was Katy over when she had a hit with Dark Horse just because it wasn't solo and someone dropped a random rap verse on it?

Drunk In Love was a hit. And a big one. Maybe not a worldwide smash but still a hit. And it would have been with or without Jay.

Lemonade's singles were awfully managed. Not saying she would've got a smash out of it but Formation would've been a much bugger hit if she released it properly.

And if her fanbase alone can help her sell out stadiums worldwide and gross hundreds of million dollars with no "hits" then that I'm glad she only has her fanbase keeping her alive.

Again she had the best sellig album of that year behind Views and a hit tour.. HOW is she over?? Like nothing shows it. And the fact her stanbase is so huge it created top hits and a top 10 hit shows she’s nowhere over 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

Racist? um1

So comparing a white person like Bush to monkey was funny, but doing the same to a black person is racist? brit3

K, wondering where I said comparing Bush to a monkey was funny, but let loose um2

Anyway, yes comparing a black person to a monkey is racist.

It depends on the context. Monkeys are smart, adorable and enjoy bananas. Just like the humans. bey1
