"Camila" is a cohesive album, surprised?

Recommended Posts

I listened to "Camila" last night and I was so surprised at how good it actually is. The Cuban influences really suit her and make her stand out from today's pop girls. Throughout the whole album, there's a consistent string of melodies that ties it all together into something oddly special. I'm glad I didn't write her off completely, this is a good start to a promising solo career. How did you feel after your first listen?

I'm not a Camilizard but I decided to give it a try. It's cohesive but so is most pop girl debuts. The content, however, was a middling affair for me... but so is most pop girl debuts lol. Havana is really the best song on the album.
