I don't get why can't they just release the music video for Hymn even if it's not planned to be a single. They wasted money on paying for it's production, so it's kind of pointless if they did the same with what they did to Backstabber's music video. Promotion is promotion so they should just release the video anyway.

Yeah, they should really do this...

For Woman they should have booked her for more performances, put the remixes on her Youtube, maybe did an acoustic version with other pop stars like Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Zara or something - would give it a great promo. They could have also invested in making a bigger budget second music video with other women from the industry, that would pay off in the long run...

Well, she couldn't perform anywhere since she was injured during Woman's entire run and was unable to perform. But I agree with the rest, especially with that they should have filmed a second high-budget music video. They had allegedly planned promo - the Woman fan videos were probably for a vertical video on Spotify, for example. But by the time they started to promote it, the song was already over on radio, so it was pointless to release that video and promote the song further. As I wrote above, the actual problem was not the promo, the actual problem was that it had been released too late as a single. You just can't release a second single six months after a lead single. The hype wouldn't have died down, it would not have been overshadowed by GOD on radio and she could have performed it if it would have been released earlier. The music video wouldn't have felt so old and boring either in that case. Hopefully they have learned from their mistake. She doesn't even need much promo - Praying did very well with very little promo. Airplay is more important for her, so it shouldn't be too hard for RCA to invest a bit more in her. If she can achieve so much with so little input, she can achieve much more if they actually cared.
