Welcome to Create A Label, a game where you can manage artists under your label and release singles and albums.

Every article you post must be a minimum of 400 words (but more is welcome!).

Also, you are only allowed to post a maximum of 10 articles per week for each artist that you signed.

Since the very first season, there has been a very big improvement in articles so we want to be clear with this season's standards.

This is the format for the articles this season and an article that will not follow this format will simply not count.

- Name of region that promo is aiming for (e.g. Europe)

- Title of article (e.g. Florence Welch appears on Le Grand Journal)

- At least one image

- Article (at least 400 words)

- For articles posted as images, please also include a text version of the article title in your post and link it to Shrib where you should include the text version of the full article

You will now be able to track your songs/albums on several regions as well as track your song's position on the radio.

You will also be able to find your albums/singles metacritic score on this website too!

In Season 8, we're going to have a different approach to Touring.

Before the meltdowns, this upcoming feature is not extra work for me. It is simply there to help me calculate tours faster & efficiently. Touring has always been one of the hardest tasks for a host and probably the most time consuming so this should help get those tour updates out quicker.

Our new home server for CAL Tube is http://calworld.byethost18.com/

It is currently limited for a certain amount of daily hits but I'll handle it before the new season begins. Please don't spam it in the mean time.

1. You log in your artist's account.

(I will give you your account's details if you lost it)

2. You click "Upload" and then go to "Tours".

3. Here is where you insert your tour details.

A.  Size of the tour pic must be 561 x 800

B. Description for the tour can include up to 110 words.

C. Ticket Names- You can name your tickets whatever you'd like. You can have up to 3 different type of tickets per tour.

D. Date- You pick the date of the concert.

E. Leg- You pick the concert's leg. If the concert is in USA, the leg is North America for example.

F. Venue/Arena/Stadium- You pick one.

G. Location- This is the important part. You must write the full location. For example: Accorhotels Arena, Paris, FR (Venue name, City, Country)

H. Capacity- You check what's the capacity in the venue you chose and insert it here. You don't invent up numbers, it needs to follow the venue's capacity in real life.

I. Now it's time to divide the total amount of tickets with the 3 different tickets prices you provided. You can insert a different pricing per concert but you should know that once you post a concert, you cannot change the price even if the demand was too high/too low.

Once you add all of the the concerts, you can click "Save Changes" and the concerts are officially up for sale.

In your artist's channel, there is a new tab "Tours" in which all of your tours and concerts you've posted will appear in.

It will also show you the total amount of tickets your artist sold, the total tour stops and the total gross. (Just for general info)

Once you click on the tour pic, you're led to the actual tour page where you can find important information on how your tour is selling.

You may also add more concerts by clicking "Add More".

We have made some changes in terms of how tour grossing will work this season.

Artists will now take 35% of the money made from each tour date.

For example, if your artist did a show and made $1 million, then your artist/label would get $350,000 from that date.

Opening acts are paid by the main acts per leg.

CAL Tube is our biggest feature this season. A website equivalent to the well-known Youtube exclusively for CAL.

It also includes the CAL Twitter http://calworld.byethost18.com/TwitterController/twitterList

There you'll be able to get live feedback from the GP and fans on Twitter.

We also have Encore, a new streaming service made just for CAL where you can upload your songs and have them available for streaming.

In the beginning of every month, a calendar will be revealed with all the events that are planned for the month. Your music corporation will give you the budget for the month and you will need to book shows with @CAL Business.

If you want to book one of the events on the calendar, a huge deal with a major company or a couple of shows that are from the list below, you will need to send a private message.

If it's Coca Cola you're approaching, you're writing a message to Coca Cola only. One Private Message per request.

If you'd like for your artist to star in any campaign for a certain company- you need to send a request to @CAL Business! Doesn't matter if that company is a major one or not. Company endorsements/campaigns happen only through CAL Business.

You can only contact CAL Business for request 6 times per month!

Every TV Show or magazine that isn't on the calendar is free and can be done without sending CAL Business a request.

Every month calendar will have different events and interesting campaigns available for artists.
Radio Promo is free! Every promo that isn't appearing in the list above is free.

Every 1 copy of a single = $1 in-game
Every 1 copy of an album = $5 in-game

You take 35% of your weekly tour gross.

Post in this thread:

1. Your label name.

2. The artist you chose (Keep in mind that it can't be an artist that's already taken: http://kworbcal.byethost4.com/NetWorths2.htm )

3. Picture of your artist

4. Short 300 words introduction of your artist and what your early plans are for him/her.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or in PMs :)
