Christina announces another new album...when will Britney?

Recommended Posts

In what world is Xtina dropping back to back albums and touring while Britney has had the longest gap of her career without releasing anything and doing absolutely nothing. "Liberation" flopped yet Xtina isn't scared to continue dropping music. What is the problem with Britney? Is it just creative direction? How does it feel to be a Britney fan in 2018 now that Xtina is once again more active? thoughts? oprah14

I love that she really seems disillusioned about commercial prospects but wants to release anyway. clap3 This is the baller attitude like every woman over 30 in the industry should have. clap3Focus on the work! clap3

Xtuna not ditching her fans for 6 decades this time, I appreciate that.

Hopefully this isn't another Liberation. With only 3 successful albums and no TV show to milk the Frog/Flop Of A Generation really does need the cash now. On the other hand Britney didn't fall in to obscurity in the music world after her 3rd album, and managed to stay relevant after the 10 year mark. So she doesn't need to rush out skip-able crappy filler albums, speaking of fillers, has the fishes lips deflated yet?

Bionic flopped hard. Lotus flopped harder. Liberation did the impossible and flopped even further. ny1

So let’s prepare ourselves as X flops into oblivion with a song that can’t even reach the Bubbling Under this time. brit2

And Britney released BJ and Glory in the time X took a break, so let’s not worry about the Princess of Pop taking a normal sized break unlike your fave’s 6-year droughts. rav2

Not on X’s level of flopdom. rav2

BlowJob was an awful album but still managed a #12 low-key iconic song. sass1

Glory also managed a Top 20. The second single at least peaked withIN Billboard 100. Remember that time you knew for certain FIL would outpeak Slumber Party? But it missed the Top 100 completely? Fun times. sass1ny1

Even if everyone’s faves flop, X will always be the trendsetter for flopping the HARDEST. Facts. rav2

Charts are not everything. Comercially Britney has always been bigger. But Xtina has more industry respect currently. I think Britney fans agree on that too. Britney needs time off to connect with her inner being again. Why fight over who is flopping harder? Both have nothing left to prove, are icons and left their mark in the industry.moo6

The universally adored Gloryhole bops and created a Top #20 hit, The Liberated Xtuna could never.
