ok I admit it "race" was not the perfect, ethnicity would be better but you are wrong if you don't believe melanin is a big factor when it comes to aging, it's purpose is to be a shield for your skin against the sun, black people have very dark skin because the sun in Africa is a bitch and their bodies needed protection against that, same with Native Americans, meanwhile Europeans and East Asians don't have much melanine in their skin because they didn't need to.

But when a person from one region moves to a a place his ancestors did not evolve they will most likely face challenges from their non native land.

Places like the USA has days where the sun literally burns your skin if you have very lightskin and one of those conseques is aging since your skin is damaged, that's why being white and tanning is never a good idea, you are literally destroying your skin.

Meanwhile Black people come from a very hostile place with a terrible sun so they are not that affected in America, same with Native Americans they have also developed the perfect amount of melanine for the sun in America

check this out, it's NATURE and SCIENCE

this is basically the reason why Mariah has a genetic advantage against the sun and aging than Madonna

Let's not forget that people use botox and do many things to look youngish. It isn't that natural aging like some people tend to believe-

Also, carrying extra weight  hides wrinkles on body.

If older people don't work out, they won't look great like some older celebes.

First of all:

Second of all:

I study biology at university and I can assure you that what you claim to be a fact is anything but that. One thing being that there is no such thing as races. There is one race, the human race and different ethnicities. Not all white people, black people or Latinos looks the same, have the same skin complexion, level of melanine, etc. If it were that way, people of the same "race" would be closer, genetically and that is often not the case.

People age differently due to many reasons, race or skin color is simply not one of them. The assumption is purely racist and it's the very logic that people in Nazi-Germany have used to proclaim their race as superior.

lmfao2 as if your rudimentary biology course makes you a expert

People of darker complexion are less suspectible to the harmful affects of ultra Violet radiation. Suddenly there’s no race but you’ve been calling Mariah white lmfao2 pathetic

Porcelain skinned aryan troglodyte madonna is aging like mayonnaise in the hot sun

While Tanned black Latinx queen Mariah is aging gracefully, thanks to her heritage.

Did I deny that the level of melanine has an impact on the way your skin reacts to sunlight? No.

The parts I disagreed with is:

1) sorting people into RACES based on how dark their skin is. Racial ambiguity  exists (Mariah and Beyonce say hello) and there are lighter and darker people among all ethnicities.

2) claiming that “black don’t crack” and “white always cracks”. Sunlight isn’t the only factor that contributes to aging. Weight gain/loss, workout, general fitness, diet, consumption of alcohol, drugs, smoking, genetics in general...

All that contributes to the process of aging. You can have flawless skin and still look old and vice versa.

Claiming that your “race” or your ethnic background is SUPERIOR to another ethinicity and then even label them as RACES as if all people with dark skin or all people with light skin were the same (even genetically) is a racist statement BY DEFINITION.

Someone really needs to read up on evolution theory again if they really think that African Americans have darker skin because "the sun in Africa is a bitch". Then why are they not white now if the skin apparently changes according to how the sun shines in the place you live in? lmfao2

I suppose you also think that giraffes have such long necks because they needed to reach the leaves high up in the trees. lmfao2lmfao2lmfao2 Suddenly the long neck function is part of their genes. lmfao2 That’s not how evolution works. If you really believe that, your teachers must have done something wrong.

sis you should take your own advice, all of that is true brit4

and yes humans will eventually evolve with time but that takes thousands of years, it doesn't happen overnight but it could come sooner or later aura1

Blue eyes in white people is a mutation that happened 10,000 years ago somewhere in Central Asia, basically yesterday and all Blue eye peopel share a common ancestor

Dude, you are literally applying Lamarck’s outdated theory to the process of Evolution! lmfao2 You have got to be fucking kidding me. Organisms do not ACTIVELY change their traits and integrate that into their genes. Who the fuck told you that?

Organisms and populations are BEING CHANGED over time through random mutations and meiosis. What you’re saying would literally mean that we’d start growing floating skin between our fingers and feet if we continued to swim and stay in the water for a long time. lol3lol3lol3

@Simón. @Tonic please help me educate this guy.

That’s EXACTLY HOW EVOLUTION WORKS rip3 I can’t believe you’re actually this DUMB skdkdkskdkfkkd lmfao2

The evolution of dark skin is believed to have begun around 1.2 million years ago,[9] in light-skinned early hominid species after they moved from the equatorial rainforest to the sunny savannas. In the heat of the savannas, better cooling mechanisms were required, which were achieved through the loss of body hair and development of more efficient perspiration. The loss of body hair led to the development of dark skin pigmentation, which acted as a mechanism of natural selection against folatedepletion, and to a lesser extent, DNA damage. The primary factor contributing to the evolution of dark skin pigmentation was the breakdown of folate in reaction to ultraviolet radiation; the relationship between folate breakdown induced by ultraviolet radiation and reduced fitness as a failure of normal embryogenesis and spermatogenesis led to the selection of dark skin pigmentation. By the time modern Homo sapiens evolved, all humans were dark-skinned.[3][10][11][12][13][14][15]
