It's automatically refuted by the fact that it's academically acclaimed. Like, what more do you want?

Nothing. It is a porn book and her fans defend saying it isn't.

There's nothing to defend. It's a legendary body of work in the fashion / modelling world and it's quite frankly referred to as a masterpiece of postmodernism by critics, social scientists and historians alike. You know, people who study social dynamics and have a sense of context in their mind, which is tough for someone like you to digest. Mariah fan.

She obviously wouldn't write "sex with minors can be fun" because she'd probably get arrested or smth. Don't play dumb. For someone who thinks so highly of themselves, that's a bit beneath you.ari5

And yes, you lie about shit all the time. Please "search well" and come back to me when you find that quote.

It's cute that you're downvoting me every few hours to 'subtly' remind me to reply, don't worry, I'm here.

No, she can write minors and she wouldn't be arrested because its' fiction. The book would be labelled (which it already is for its explicit content) and even if it were legally problematic, 1992 Madonna would love nothing more but to argue against that. It's purposefully vague and there's no solid evidence or proof that she talked about someone who was under the age of 16, which is probably what she wanted to do by writing that passage, to provoke a discussion. And look at us, 30 years later. mad13

I found that quote jj1 Here you go :

https://www.capitalfm.com/artists/lady-gaga/news/do-what-u-want-video-tease/?fbclid=IwAR25IkKicx-7Hhx8dqTiu6M29NCfxUlKrKhDP_So_DPpj6pemrnPsUMgAbE

"Lady Gaga joked that from the overwhelming reaction to her sexualised performance of 'Do What U Want', she can't wait to hear what people have to say when the watch the song's upcoming music video.brit3

Here's another tweet

And here's R Kelly saying Gaga is his match :

burn1

And consequently, since I'm the supposed 'liar', I want you to post receipts of her saying she didn't release the video because she realized it was morally wrong. Let's see who's the liar. tay3

Could have cut it short.

So it isn't a porn book?

Looking for the quote that says that she didn’t release the video because “people weren’t ready for it.” Nothing you just posted is related to what you said earlier.

Also I downvoted you because I felt like it. I don’t care if you respond or not and I know you’re always here, because, well...jj1

so "I'm beginning to think y'all aren't ready for the video"
is not clear enough for you? burn1

"Lady Gaga says she isn't sure if people are "ready" for her 'Do What U Want' music video just yet"

No...nothing? brit9

Well, if you want a sober view to begin with then let's start with what initially started this discussion : you saying that she didn't release it because of moral reasons, give me the receipts for that.

It's not a matter of who says what. It's just there. It just happened. And I don't have any problem with it. It's just pathetic/funny to see her fans defending her at all costs.

But, see, there's nothing to defend. It's a photography book. It's shot by a professional photographer, it was sold by respectable book stores, doesn't show any unsimulated sex and does not show any erected dicks, so it's simply not pornography by definition sia5 How are fans acting funny when even non-fan professionals agree it's not pornography? The book is not known as a pornography book by any means, that's something made up in this very thread bey8 So... weird, man. Just weird, you.

She was joking obviously, and she said this before the video was canceled. Acting like she said those things as a reason for the delay of the release is just dishonest but what can I expect from you at this point?

Anyway im done having this discussion with you. That’s my last statement on the matter.

Translation : you couldn't find where she supposedly apologized for the video and stated that it was morally wrong of her. brit9

Moral of the story : don't come for Madonna when your fave literally created a whole advertisement for rape, written with a convicted rapist + pedo and shot & directed by one as well! tay3

They worked together many times. I guess she really appreciates the way he's humiliating women! clap3 A real feminist who supports rape! clap3

There are several reviews calling it porn right after its release.

And it has pornographic content regardless of who published it.
