Disney announces post-Fox theatrical plans up to 2027 (three untitled Star Wars movies alternating with Avatar sequels, New Mutants moved to next year, eight new Marvel films)

Here's my guess for the Marvel movies...

5/1/20 - The Eternals

11/6/20 - Black Widow

2/12/21 - Shang-Chi

5/7/21 - Doctor Strange 2

11/5/21 - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

2/18/22 - Black Panther 2

5/6/22 - Something new, let's throw out a wildcard guess and say Moon Knight...

7/29/22 - Captain Marvel 2

Yes, he is.

Allegedly, W&B will oversee the off-year “Story” films, and Rian will oversee this new trilogy.

Honestly they should just scrap New Mutants at this point.

Hmm, I wanna see it. I like the superhero horror angle and I like Anya-Taylor Joy in everything I've seen her in thus far.

It's probably a prequel. Regardless, a director, screenwriter and several cast members have been hired so it is happening, just a question of when.

It could be good, but I always feel like it's a bad sign when holdups like that happen. Isn't this the second or third time it's been delayed?

It's the second time, yeah, it was originally meant for April of last year. I think they wanted to reshoot it to make it scarier. It is often a bad sign, but I'm still curious. Though it will be kind of weird for the original X-Men series to end with a spin-off that was meant to start a new series that likely won't continue.

Bob’s Burgers movie finally got a date. Sooo excited!! Love my Belchies. I think they’ll deliver. At first I was anxious they might not be able to keep a story interesting for longer than a one episope time span, but The Bleakening christmas special that was 45 minutes long was amazing! I can’t wait.

I want the Obi-Wan movie with Ewan McGregor.
