Why just focus on album eras when you can do so much more?

Cher, being the original all around entertainment queen, set a road for others to follow her path. But which in the poll above has made the biggest impact outside of albums? nat1

Here is a summary;

Lady Gaga-A Star Is Born movie and soundtrack, American horror story

Christina Aguilera-Mickey Mouse Club, Epic failure “Reflection” on the epic fail on a non classic Disney film, Forgotten Moulin Rouge Soundtrack which didn’t win any accolades, Iconic Shark Tale soundtrack,  Epic flop Burlesque which went on to never air again after its theater release and only sold 5 blu rays and a soundtrack that sold the same, 6 seasons on an epic failure The Voice which was the lowest rated singing competition show of all time, etc. She’s definitely not the one here to win this.

Ariana Grande-Nickelodeon girl

Rihanna-Oceans 11, Battleship, Bates Motel

Beyonce-Dream Girls, The Lion King, Iconic Etta James remake that she adored, etc.

Had Mariah not done glitter, singer turned actress would not be a thing. Burlesque, thankfully, wouldn’t have happened. But neither would have dreamgirls.

Mariah literally set the bar

But didn't Madge do it first with Lala Is Bonita or something.

The fact that you’re unsure is a testament to its lasting impact.

In terms of impact and contribution? Truth or Dare popularized reality TV, Dick Tracy was one of the first big money making comic based films and Desperately Seeking Susan & Evita are classics.

But... anyway!

You said singer not Pop singer, so clearly the answer is Barbra. Come on. Those others can’t compare.
