Lil Nas X's EP actually slays

Recommended Posts

“For the entirety of 7, it’s unclear if Lil Nas X actually likes music. He uses a lazy, out-of-tune melody on the reflective “Kick It,” a song that looks back on the past six months, which is apparently the only thing he has anything to say about. Then, there’s the sloppy finale “C7osure (You Like),” which sounds like B.o.B. got hired to make a J.C. Penney commercial in 2010. The EP ends up being a set of nothingness, like watching a Kylie Jenner vlog, content made for the sake of justifying its existence.”

Pitchfork really hit the nail on the head here huh. His music is nothing more than cheap beats and meaningless lyrics about literally nothing. He is destined for one hit wonder status.... and we’re happy about that! Now we need for Agu to ask the nurse at his retirement home to adjust his hearing aid because it’s been faulty for far too long.

He still a one hit wonder for now. sha1

“Panini” debut at #1 on Spotify and likely headed for a top 10 Billboard debut. So technically, he won’t be a one hit wonder next week. sha1

Why are we going on shitfork for receipts? Lmao. The review was embarrassing and a terrible, childish take that shouldn’t have seen pass editing.

anyways, Nas X has always been a meme guy, and its obvious throughout the music. Panini is about a character from Chowder ffs lmao.

It’s not meant to be something serious. However, I commend him for playing around with other genres and trying random things just cause.

The EP isn’t.. Great but it does have 3 pretty solid tracks including Old Town Road. moo1

Also The EP is doing pretty well moo1
