Yeah but from what I understand in that tweet, it will be an album feat. global artists curated and produced by her but they didn't clearly say it will solely be just Bey.

They should've kept it to begin with since having 2 separate soundtracks (one with Beyonce as a main artist) is more of a cash-grab than the live-action reboots in general eve1

Beyoncé has released the cover and the tracklist of The Lion King: The Gift, a collab album that will be released July 19th 2019 and that has been produced and curated by Beyoncé.

The album has features like Blue Ivy, Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Tierra Wack, etc.

this so beautiful! like the way she's connecting the diaspora through music. it's been done before but wow i never thought i'd see yemi alade on a track with bey. love this!

I love how the album is truly influenced by Africa. We get to hear african artists and we'll get african sounds too.

Beyoncé is really putting a spotlight on the source of her inspiration which is amazing.
