But i thought Gaga was "the biggest pop girl of 2010s decade"?

Recommended Posts

We missed you from the chart last week, damn that's right Gaga wasn't there!

Rihanna out done everyone without releasing any music for half of this decade. Gaga could never. moo13

Being the biggest pop star has nothing to do with having the most #1’s but with who was the most influential!

And what influence did Gaga have past 2013?

The second half of the decade is totally different than the first one. You wouldn't even think that pop girls and crazy costumes were even a thing bcuz of what's popular now. Even the influence she had for 3 years was weak and didn't carry on.

yup. Rihanna is definitely the most consistent and one of biggest artists of the decade stat-wise (when she still released music, that is).

But Gaga built a legacy this decade. Not to say Rihanna's hasn't also built a legacy, it's just Gaga's feels so epic and diverse. She's no longer just the crazy meat dress ra-ra bitch, she's a household name who extended her popularity from just youngsters to all age ranges through things like her residency, Cheek to Cheek and her award show tributes (Sound of Music etc). Gaga added herself to that list following Adele and P!nk, and that gives her respect. Her doing a successful movie-musical, receiving worldwide acclaim and respect, and winning an Oscar is just the cherry on top.

I guess the only influence lady agag had was to get herself in sticky situation by collaborating with R. Kelliii and claiming that she was too young to even realize it even though she was already twenty seven or so.

Rihanna might have 9 number ones but last time I checked Battleship didn’t produce one of the biggest soundtrack hits of this decade hottie1

Old Town Road has been number 1 for weeks, clearly the general public has a taste issue, or lack thereof gaga11

So what? Lol.

But if we bring up other factors other than music. Rihanna has an successful make up brand (worth 3 billion dollars) and a successful high fashion line. Rihanna is a diplomat as well and an almost billionaire. I think she won.

Rihanna is also well-liked and respected by more than just the gays. The straights embrace her just as much. Men and women. Lady GagReflex will never earn the same respect and universal likability.

She doesn't need to rely on soundtracks and movie payola to get her hits, they come naturally brit15

Successful music moguls and entrepreneurs know how to take advantage of the resources available to them. The voice does all the work.. and that's securing the bag sis rih6
