Debut 6.7

1989 7.7

Fearless 8.1

Speak Now 8.2

Red 9.0

They already reviewed Reputation in 2017 (6.2), so this brings her average score by Pitchfork to 7.65 jj2 (and for reference, they gave Red a higher score than the likes of Lemonade, Dirty Computer, Golden Hour, Melodrama, etc - legit shocked to filth at that dead2)

Oh wow... whew...

Never too late to become aware of Lord’s impeccable talent. Good for them. jj2

Also, reputation got 6.5 ( not 6.2 ) which compared to her debut is deserving of a 7. jj5

Great thing is that classic Red is what they consider best in her discography.

yeah reputation is a bit on the low end, same with 1989, but overall these are still great numbers clap3

Kinda annoyed they're reviewing them all now just because she's now deemed cool enough for them to review (still upset at them for reviewing Bryan Adams's 1989 cover album instead of the album itself), but these are really good reviews and anything higher than an 8 is kinda huge for them to give out, so at least they appreciate her.

And the scores really are pretty spot on, though I'd give Preach Now a 10, and bump Reputation up at least two points.

i will have whatever they're smoking. as good as Red is that album is NOT a 9 by Pitchfork standards.

the ultimate kii of this all would be for them to have all this goodwill now only to drag Lover to the pits next week and there is a high chance that could happen.

I'm actually quite positive this is what will happen. Give her older music great scores (since we all know it was her quality peak, fingers crossed for Lover...) only to rate her two newest releases (Rep: 6.5) and Lover (probably no higher than 6) her lowest... if they're that petty.
