The record, which the Welsh hunk insists is not made up of show tunes, is being produced by longtime Kylie producer Steve Anderson.

Anderson is the mastermind some of Kylie's biggest albums including Lightyears and Fever.

A source told Daily Star Online: "Kylie and Luke have been friends for years so recording a song together seemed a natural fit.

"The album is being produced by Steve Anderson who is the mastermind behind some of Kylie's biggest albums."

Announcing the news via Twitter last week, Luke, 40, said: "Been keeping this under wraps but now it’s out.

"I’ve signed a record deal and I’ve been in the studio recording my first-ever album.

"I’m over the Moon. My first love has always been singing."
