So.... on their own admission they didn't write the lyric either. What a nothing burger. bebe1

She should just spare the 5% they are asking for and call it a day. There is no proof that Lizzo “stole” the lyric, especially if it was already a meme. Also, there is no proof that these songwriters wrote it for the song “Healthy” they speak of. It could’ve very well been a line Lizzo coined during their writing session and she felt entitled to use it in another song. But it’s better to just put this behind her.

Funny how they said nothing before it got popular, they literally supported the song up until now brit15 messy on both sides tbh but whatever. Stream Truth Hurts!gag1

They literally said they've been trying to settle this quietly since 2017 but have been shut down. I guess they've made it public now since the song is popular and it's getting even more money so they can actually get to her team and get that 5%.

And even if they didn't originally came up with the words they said they'll share some of that 5% with the original creator so what's the problem.

This trend of songwriters having songs stolen from them, not being their royalties is becoming more and more common. Just pay the damn money and give credit. It's good they have twitter to speak up now unlike the old days.

And what makes them the bookkeeper for this other artist who doesn't seem to care?
