FOTP's Eurovision Song Contest 2020

• Well, first and foremost, hello and be welcome.
• After members have had a chance to be spooked in season 5 of Slasher!, then they also had a chance to get their names on a scoreboard in Members Mega-rate and before Top Answer Game revives in full, we are here to add to all of that with one more activity for everyone that was hinted circa two weeks ago and there were people who were interested in possibly doing this.
• As you have been already aware, this year's Eurovision Song Contest had been canceled due to unfortunate Covid-19 outbreak. However, each participating country got their song out there and we can still entertain ourselves with them ( or not, depending on the material ). It also give us this opportunity for members on this site to decide who would have been winner when it comes to FOTP.
• What's the idea behind this? It is widely known that this competition is divided in two semi-final nights where determined number of songs compete for their place in the final. From each of those two semi-finals, ten songs get chance to fight for the victory in grand final night. That key mechanism remains as the core idea here as well.
• We are keeping the original countries order of both semi-finals, which means that we are going to cast our votes which will result in delivering complete plethora of countries/songs that final will be consisted of.
• The usual ESC manner of voting is to choose top 10 favorite songs and give them following points: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12. This voting method is going to be applied to both semi-finals. So, that means that people, who are going to participate in this, have to give those points to 10 countries from both semi-finals. That way, we are going to get list of 20 finalists.
• It is also known that Germany, Italy, Spain, France, UK and previous year's winning country ( Netherlands in this case ) don't compete in semi-finals, because they are pre-qualified for the final. That is the thing that will be changed when it comes to this game. Those 6 countries will be grouped in their already determined and corresponding semi-finals.

• Please note, if you choose to participate, you need to vote for songs/countries in both semi-finals, because members who vote now will also ( need to ) vote later in the grand final. You will use previous showed lists to pick your 10 favorite entries from both semi-finals and give them 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points.

• Voting during semi-finals starts on May the 2nd and will last up until May the 16th when we are going to reveal which countries made it into the grand final. The final is scheduled to be held on May the 23rd. So, two weeks to vote during semi-finals process of contest and one week to vote in the final.
• Sending your votes should be done via PM to @Ghostface and/or @Entea.
