If Christina Will do A cover album...

Recommended Posts

What songs do you think X will cover for this kind of album. (She will likely never do one but one can only fantasize.)

Here's mine:

1. I Feel Love (Donna Summer)

2. Hung Up (Madge)

3. Believe (Cher)

4. Strong Enough (Cher)

5. I Will Survive (Gloria Gaynor)

6. I'm Every Woman (Whitney Houston)

7. Meteorite (Moo)

8. She Works Hard For The Money (Donna Summer)

9. Ring My Bell (Anita Ward)

10. Dancing Queen (ABBA)

11. Last Dance (Donna Summer)

(Too disco...I know but I just want her to do this kind of music as it fits ha voice and can you imagine the lewks we can get from ha. )

Sis you KNOW any cover album is gonna be an etta James tribute dead2

And I'm OK with that dead2

I for one would love to see her do an album of country cover classics

Yes most likely an Etta James tribute album or maybe an Aretha Franklin covers.

I would love to hear a studio version of her "Think" cover.

But maybe she can also do a cover of Cher's songs since we never got a proper duet from them in Burlesque.

I'd actually like for her to record a cover album as a side project. A jazz/blues/R&B classics cover album would be nice.

But I'd also love if she recorded all the covers she did over the years, so we could have them in studio quality.

God I hope she doesn’t do a whole covers album. Maybe the odd song. It just comes across as so cheap, like something a record label would release for a failing artist, or one a tv and theatre artist would release.

Cher did a covers album and it was phenomenal.

True. But Cher is much older, and she had tonnes of albums under her belt by that point. Plus it worked better with the mamma Mia movie coinciding. I would still like to have another original album from Xtina, at least for now.

Etta James, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone.  This performance slayed me so hard:

I need a studio version of I Have Nothing
