Tory Lanez‘s streams PLUMMETS by 40% after incident with Megan Thee Stallion

Nearly two weeks ago, Megan said he shot her. Since then, his streams have plummeted, dropping by 40% last week.

Partly pressured by negative reactions on social media, Megan took to Instagram Live on August 20 to share the details of what happened that night. Tory shot her, she said, rather out of the blue. When the police arrived at the scene, Megan explained, she feared for her life and did not immediately tell what was going on, especially given the current climate and long history of police brutality against Black people.

Tory’s audio streams were consistently in the 20 million to 30 million range since mid-June, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. However, during the week of August 21 -- following Megan’s revealing August 20 livestream -- Tory’s streams plummeted by nearly 9 million—a 40% drop from the previous week’s 22 million streams.
