Welp the BTS takeover has already finished stage 1: Take over the Billboard charts. Next is music industry, then the rest of entertainment industry, then the US government and finally the world. Give in while you can. Resistance will only delay the inevitable.

Seriously though, congrats to BTS on their second #1. Pretty sure they're the first Asian act to have more than one #1 on the Hot 100. They did what Psy failed to do many years ago

I feel like practically every single Billboard #1 song this year wasn't even big and were just pushed by fans  

Like the only #1s this year that were actually big were The Box, Blinding Lights, Savage, Rockstar, and WAP. Every other week seems to just be something that falls down the charts right after it debuts.
