I beg to differ. Demi literally dated Miley Cyrus when they were on Disney, she probably had a crush on Selena Gomez, and even hooked up with Kehlani. The only thing is her identity but I don't know.

Yes, it's hard for people to discover themselves early in their lives, but I don't see this as with Jessie J as a "phase".  They're just experimenting ATM, really, and this at this moment is what they felt is right. Gender and sexuality are both spectrums so anyone giving anyone grief over their self discovery need to stop.

I've been a fan of them for a long time but it low key gets difficult I'm not gonna lie. This will sound awful but I feel like the non-binary thing might be a short-lasting thing. If not, then good for them. But it's like they're just hopping on whatever is up for discussion at the very moment all the time.

I still enjoy their music and vocals but some choices that have been made (not the non-binary thing) just don't sit right with me.

I think people who have been through serious trauma and have harrowing addictions/mental illnesses should not be in the public eye while trying to recover. The added stress of media scrutiny and the court of public opinion only makes them act out their unprocessed trauma even more than if they were in private. Demi is only 28, thus still in the relative beginning stages of recovery and healing, there is a long road ahead and they should get out of the spotlight for a while.
