I don't like her a bit, but I gotta admit just seeing the photo of him backstage kinda confirms that what she's saying is true. It looks a lot worse than it really is in the actual performance, but it honestly does just look like he's supposed to have that 80s spray tan, it just didn't translate that way. Film is my area of study, I'm working with cameras quite a bit and I can promise you the camera and the lighting will indeed change things and you'll never notice until you're seeing the footage playback because you can't see it with your naked eye. What you see physically see in a space is not always going to come out looking the same in the footage if you've not lit it and filmed it perfectly and with those potential accidents in mind.
