She did her signature just fine on the signed copies for Brightest Blue CDs and boxsets. Could’ve just been that one copy. Even then it doesn’t even look that bad and you can easily tell who it is.

I’ve seen it be iffy on multiple copies of the book, actually.

No, it sounds like she’s begging for engagement/positive promotion around her book if she’s stating that she’s unable to  “play it cool” and for purchasers and people she’s literally given it away to for free to “pleeeeeeease do post about it”. 

Considering as of right there’s there’s a lowly 44 public posts on Instagram with the hashtag #fittercalmerstronger with only 5 of those actually being non-duplicated posts from people showing that they’ve now got the book. And nearly all the rest being bookstores selling it or some fan accounts reposting images of the book announcement/Ellie holding the book…it doesn’t look like particularly good news for her or her publisher.

It’s almost as if there’s next to no demand for this product with it now being only £12 on Amazon in less than a week of its launch. This thread is currently the 24th result on Google when searching for this book name. That’s rather yikes considering this topic is currently just over 2 days old.

Well I think it was obvious there was no demand for the book but why not do one? She’s always been passionate about working out and eating healthy—it was only a matter of time before she made a book about it. I don’t see anything wrong in doing something you’re passionate about even if it isn’t widely consumed.

And then simply asking your fans to post about it because she wants to see their reaction or whatever is perfectly normal…

How about the fact that as someone who constantly champions the importance of saving the planet and the threat of climate change she’s literally directly contributed a shit ton of books to various warehouses and book shops around the world?

Those books all needed to be printed, either shipped globally or delivered by truck locally and I’ll bet that a hell of a lot of those no-one will ever read and will be in clearance section by Christmas or returned to the publisher to be turned into pulp. 

She could’ve done the much more environmentally friendlier option of simply publishing just the digital version and audiobook of it instead of having all of those polluting events happen with unnecessary physical copies.

How many people are truly going to want a permanent form of a singer’s words of fitness on their shelf? Going by the public response…almost no-one.
