As we know, Carly is set to release her 6th album (rumoured to be called “So Nice”) before her “So Nice Tour” kicks-off in September. We have “Western Wind” as the lead single and “Move Me” coming out next week as a promo single. The next official single is rumoured to be out August 5th (now 12th) and might be performed at her Somerset House gig in England on Monday (July 11th) according to MetroUK newspaper (it wasn’t):

Live debut = 11 July. Release date = 5 August (3 weeks later)

This woman is incapable of two things in her life:

1) writing a bad song.

2) having a good album roll-out.

Her management team and label team have had this planned like this from the beginning. The whole tease of “Western Wind” at Coachella weeks before the official release was the same. fall2

She / her team also sabotaged the debut week of Dedicated Side B with a Thursday release. Only 16 hours of sales were counted and the album debuted at #22 . It was actually the #3 best selling album (pure sales) with a full week of sales that tracking week.

Her Side B albums are not promoted by her labels. So, releasing them on a non-Friday gives the album a first day #1 on iTunes to help promote them. “So Nice Side B” will be no different when she releases it in 2023 (on the one year anniversary of “So Nice Side A”).
