DaBaby cancels concert due to low ticket sales; less than 500 tickets sold out of 14k

A concert by DaBaby scheduled for Friday (Sept. 2) at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans has been canceled.

The concert's promoters say they are working on putting together a replacement show on a new date, possibly at a different venue, with a beefed-up talent lineup that will "likely" still include DaBaby.

Before Ticketmaster's seating chart for the concert was deactivated Tuesday, it showed that hardly any advance tickets had been sold, even though they were priced as low as $35. The number of tickets sold appeared to be fewer than 500 for an arena with a concert capacity of 14,000 or more.

Rapper and the show's promoter, Sylvester, suspects that DaBaby's homophobic comments may have hurt sales in New Orleans.

I never said it was, my point was that if he had any shot in hell of selling out a venue of that size by himself, it would come from fans of Dua.
