With Squid Game season 2 in the works, the director is already dreaming of what season 3 could hold, and that dream involves Leonardo DiCaprio.

Hwang Dong-hyuk, the director of Squid Game, has told Deadline that if a third season of the intense drama series gets the greenlight, he wants to try and get some big Hollywood names to join the cast. Hwang, who is currently writing season 2 of the hit show, revealed the budget for the new season has increased.

He also said that while Hollywood actors are “not in my plan” for season 2, if a third season was to get the go ahead, that approach would “probably change.”

“Leonardo DiCaprio did say he’s a big fan of ‘Squid Game,’ so maybe if time or chances allow, we can ask him to join the games,” Hwang said during a press conference in Seoul, via Variety.  “There will be no known Hollywood actor in Season 2. That’s not in the plan and if the stage changes, maybe in Season 3 – but for Season 2, it is still set in Korea. We will start shooting Season 2 next year and it’ll be released the following year.”

Netflix also greenlit reality competition series “Squid Game: The Challenge” with a $4.56 million cash prize for a winning contestant. The history-making reality show will be filmed in the U.K.
