The staff at RS must be taking some wild drugs if they made this list. There are so many things wrong with it that I don’t even know where to begin.

Hearing their justification for this list is, I guess, a point, if you’re willing to buy it. I’m personally fine with my fave being the 5th best singer of all time, so far as these rankings exist in this magazine. 

But the fact that Celine Dion isn’t even on the list to begin with is absurd. What the fuck is a rolling stone?

Aspects of this list i really respect and can understand while others i find rediculous. Aretha and Whitney being #1 and #2 i can fully get behind, Celine not being included at all though is inexcuasable, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and to a lesser extent Beyonce being above Elton John, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse also doesn't sit right at all, Taylor Swift above Lauryn Hill??? 

It also seems like some people were just included to cater to the sponsered advert algorithms. I just about shouting at my laptop when i saw members from BTS and The Weekend appearing above many other more deserving artists.

honestly i think this wasn’t a list of “#1 is the most amazing vocalist ever!” but more of like “here’s who we think have a great voice” and the positions doesn’t matter i assume bc putting kelly clarkson at 198 and taylor swift almost in the top 100 make no sense to me at all. 

also they know what they did with the exclusion of celine dion tbh, it definitely brought them more traffic to their website. when i saw that bts singer there i laughed so hard 😭 but abel has good vocals, his best vocal performance has to be the super bowl so i understand why he’s there
