FOTP's Song Contest S2: Winner Revealed (Pg.76)

Recommended Posts

Bea Miller - feel something: i quite like this actually. it's chill. nothing too exciting, but as far i'm concerned none of the songs this round are.

Stacie Orrico - Stuck: pretty disappointed you didn't you go with the better Stacie Orrico song. this is still a cute throwback though

Sky Ferreira - Lost In My Bedroom: its... okay? her voice kind of drowns in the production. Sky had way better songs to go with.

Cher Lloyd - Want U Back: it's cute & on theme for sure. don't have that much more to say, i've overplayed this song to the point i almost can't listen to it anymore because i used to LOVE Cher back in the day.

Ruel - Growing Up Is _____: yeah this was really boring. male artists need to do better, this sounds like a copy of Shawn and harry styles and whoever else combined. no originality.

Kylie Minogue - I Should Be So Lucky: the fact that i didn't know that this song was by Kylie dead1 i just knew it as some cheesy 80s song. that's exactly what it is.. her voice sounds way better here than in her career as an adult though.

Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song: knew this would be on the list. overrated song, and pretty lazy choice compared to most of the others who went with more unknown artists.

Judy Garland - Over The Rainbow: it's a classic of course... it does well in a disney movie i suppose, but not something i'd ever sit and listen to.

Becky G - Shower: the most overplayed Becky song of all time, great. used to love it, but feel the same about this as the Cher song.

Lexi Jayde - drunk text me: pleasantly surprised to see this! probably my favorite on the list, i actually had it on my 2022 playlist.

pretty rough round dead1

pretty dissppointed in myself for not sticking with my initial choice which was this. thought it would bomb, but actually think it wouldve done better than the song i ended up submitting dead1

I was switching back and forth between Ashlee and the one I ended up submitting in the end. Would have been an instant #1 for me. giveup4

How, when 8 out of 10 are dreadful ari9

just find one thing you like about each song and rank them based on your personal preference ari9

i agree that most of them are bad, but it wasnt that hard to throw them in a ranked list from bad to worse ari9
