Eat The Acid was born in the early pandemic months. We were all wondering if the world was ending, and one day, one of us (Kesha, Stuart, or I) decided to stop our never-ending Netflix binge and try to figure out Zoom so we could write together.

After figuring it out, Eat The Acid just came to us in that first day. Some of the vocals Kesha used on the record are actually iPhone recordings from that session. She would send vocals back and forth to Stuart over text while he was putting them on the track.

We knew immediately how special this song was when the chorus popped out. That was the first time I felt any hope for the future during such a scary time.
