Extension is out in like a day or so and this image is something I picked up online. Don’t know if it’s true or not, but I can see this happening for 2024.

ExTension is very disappointing, seems lazy and unnecessary, Disco Mixes actually brought something new to the songs, fixed bad mixing and this one is

Tbh i need to pay more attention to it in case there is something more there but it didn't feel like it for quick listen

yeah the songs were all quick tiktok pop songs none of them benefited from random extended instumental breaks all over them. Especially when most of them dont even have bridges to begin with

Looks fake to me cause I dread it being true and them using the album vocal stem with bare production and calling it acoustic

Wouldn’t it have been funny if TENSION was originally recorded as an acoustic album before it went to mixing producers

So how do we feel about Tension after few months, do we still care or are we done and we wait for Tension No Guest List Edition?

I have to say i see myself not listen to this as much anymore, i still comeback to Golden and Disco especially after all the leaks we have there's lot of to listen too, Tension feels more flat when more time passed, its nice pop record but doesn't seem that memorable and i still couldn't bother to listen properly to Ex-tinction

I’m kind of done with Tension

 

I was listening to it while driving the other day, and I’m starting to skip tracks which is a sign that I’m not connecting with it. I still listen to Infinite Disco more and I never even bothered with “Extension”. 

 

I’m still trying to analyze what happened with Tension promo because this era was just not “Kylie” worthy.

There will be an expanded rerelease of Tension in the coming months

In a Variety Magazine interview, they spill the tea 👀 :

These days, she doesn’t go anywhere without her mobile studio, a necessary creation during the pandemic that enabled her to complete 2020’s “Disco,” and she credits for the “enormous” payoff of “Tension.” “I think spending so much time with a microphone myself, with my voice, with my thoughts, with my choices, just, God, I wish I knew this stuff earlier,” she says. But with the Grammys, the back half of the residency and an expanded rerelease of “Tension” due in the coming months, “Padam Padam” feels less a culmination of her career than the beginning of a new chapter.

This better be a new album. Maybe something sexier? Like going for a more Hands and Green Light esque sensual vibes because those two felt so lost with the other Tension tracks.

Over at Popjustice, the rumour is a re-issue of Tension to be announced at the end of September for release in Oct, Nov or December.
