They really should surprise drop it now digital, her whole sales relay on physical sales of all those 70 different bundle album packs, vinyl variants, casstets and signed stuff so if doesn't matter if we hear album now or in September all the old gays will buy it anyway and lbr she has small chances to top the charts anyway, she wont have streaming record so why bother to wait when we know album is leaking anyway 

In her case leak won't matter or affect her sales so why not take control of it and release it on your own terms

Album will 100% leak because people not only have album but album demo sampler as well this is why we are already getting outtakes from album that wasn't even announced yet 

When I was going to sleep after Kylie LeakXmas people were already reporting that two full LQ tracks from Tension leaked

I hope her team is behind this supppsed leaks to reel people in and not actually leak the entire album. At this rate she should just surprise release the tension on May 18th or on May 28th to coincide with her 55th birthday. The four month wait will likely result into full album leak. We don't want it to be the most illegal downloaded album of the 2020s like Bionic was in 2010.

Tbh this should be a wake up call. Someone on that team is untrustworthy. We have had minimal leaks since Golden and now all of a sudden an entire leakgate and entire upcoming album going around with traders like this is a mess.

Theres demo from Tension called Running, and Rollin was actually initially title track for Golden album called... Golden later they rewrote Golden Demo into Rollin and wrote entirely new song called Golden

Demo of Golden (Rollin) is pretty much same as Rollin but chours are "we could be golden"

She's not gonna push release forward. She relies too much on physical sales. BMG will try to keep her streak of #1 debuts in the UK and the only way to do that is with physicals. I dont mind waiting cause we just got almost 2 albums worth of songs considering 9 more tracks leaked today

Vinyl production is critical to Kylie’s sales numbers and the release date is probably a reflection of how far she is in line at the vinyl factory.

Bjork had this happen to her with Vulnicura album it leaked like two months before release and she right away dropped it on itunes and streaming as at least people turned into legal ways to listen to it rather than work around looking for downloads, and putting songs on their personal accounts for streaming.

 

Also i think there was study that leaks have barely any impact on sales anymore as people today are too lazy to look for leaks, and as most of people stream music, its too much bother for them to physically put files on their devices/accounts to listen to them

Well, for sales impact and a #1 album in the UK and Australia, it’s important not to stagger the release of different formats. But, there’s nothing stopping her from unlocking several tracks to those who pre-order or pre-save the album for its release on Sept 22nd. The streaming numbers will count then, and it may increase physical pre-order sales, too. 
 

That’s funny about leaks having little impact on sales. I’m going to say that teenagers who only have phones would rather store photos on them than waste space with music files. I think I’m old school - the hunt for leaks is just like finding a gem in a used record shop.

I add them right after album tracklist but sometimes i plan which demos should be in what order, i have this bit of ocd where it bothers me to either delete tracks or change order of real tracklist

I did this with KMO and X. 

Added bunch of KMO demos like Waiting for the Sun, Sparks, Fall Out Of Love, In the Name of Love and Beat of My Heart along with Right Here, Right Now, of course Sleeping with the Enemy and just tinkered a bit with the order of the songs.

The album sounded cohesive to me with this kind of playlisting. 

 

I moved Sexercize, Mr. President to my X playlist along with Skirt, BPM, Timebomb and movee All I See to my Body Language Playlist since it fits the hiphop sound of BL.

I actually divided X in two albums- one as album with album tracks, bsides and favorite demos and the socond for the other 30(?) demos
