Thankfully the jury saved us from awarding the abysmal Finnish song (I wouldn't even go as far as calling it that). I really don't know what the GP saw in that mess...ugly ass "singer", awfully composed, the list goes on.

Ballads will have little chance compared with entries like Finland if only the public were to vote. Latvia missed out of the final without a flashy song and staging due to semifinals having a public voting only (I think that's a recent change). Yet, Poland going through safety in the stronger first semifinal 💀

I don’t care tbh. To me Eurovision is about party & fun so if it results in ballads not making it there won’t be a huge loss (to me). It should also be about what the public/Europe actually enjoys. I don’t think it’s true however, because there were some ballads in the final and the semi finals were voting only.
